Extra Oil - Matthew 25:1-13

When the announcement of the bridegroom’s arrival was made, the wise took the surplus oil, refilled their lamps and were on their way to meet the bridegroom with burning lamps. Anything not in surplus will not fulfill destiny. We need to work while it is day for night cometh when no man can work. It is dangerous to have just enough (prayer, money, holiness, )

There are times that your extra oil of money, prayer, holiness, will carry you in your future. There are times that the bridegroom will delay. What shall you do if you had just enough? The wise virgins had extra oil, something you don’t need now ( e.g. accumulating wisdom, understanding) A time comes when famine hits (gather extra for your future) This is how people suffer a setback but they rise up again – extra oil.

We need an anointing more that what our family needs, more than what our church needs, we need more and more, increases of grace, etc. Realize that each of us need to go and find their own oil – if we keep sharing with others we fall into the danger  of being in darkness also. Therefore be on your knees and BUY oil for yourself.

Remember while they left, the bridegroom came and shut the door! Extra oil of grace will make you laugh when others are crying, get an overflow!
